Nestle Toulouse Cookie Recipe  (Nestle Toll House Cookies)

As promised here is a quick post for the good folk at @GiftCookie with my favourite cookie recipe. I decided to try and make these after watching an episode of Friends and it makes it the tastiest cookies.
I found an american recipe and converted to uk measurements. I think I must have a Cookie Monster living in my house as whenever I bake these beauties they always disappear quickly :)

2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate chips or chopped chocolate = 300 grams

2 1/4 cups flour = 335 grams

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 cup butter = 225 grams

3/4 cup granulated sugar = 180 grams

3/4 cup brown sugar=180 grams

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1.Preheat oven to 375° F = 190° Celsius
2.Grease and line some baking sheets
3.Combine the dry ingredients through the salt. Cream the butter and sugar and vanilla, add eggs
one at a time…beating well after each addition
4.Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
5.Bake for 9 - 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool two minutes, move to wire racks to completely cool.
6.Eat & enjoy :)
